Candidates holding a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, molecular biology, or a related field are encouraged to apply. A successful Postdoctoral candidate in the Ma Lab is expected to:
Have virology or immunology related research background.
Have extensive experience in Molecular and Cellular Biology techniques.
Be highly motivated and collaborative.
Candidates with experience in virus, immunity, or rodent-based research are not required but will be highly advantageous. All necessary training will always be provided. Postdoctoral Associates in my lab will be supported to develop their own research projects investigating the innate immune response against a tumor virus.
